Virgin Galactic's first space tourists reach space

The first space tourists carried by the American company Virgin Galactic reached space on Thursday, announced the company founded by billionaire Richard Branson, fulfilling a promise made two decades ago.
The three passengers - Jon Goodwin, 80, Keisha Schahaff, 46, and daughter Anastatia Mayers, 18 - took off from New Mexico and were propelled to an altitude of over 80 km, the limit the US military says marks the beginning of space, a commentator announced on the company's live video feed.
