Republican White House candidate Donald Trump said Tuesday he was “very confident” after casting his ballot in Florida for the U.S. presidential election, a crucial vote for the U.S. and the world
“I'm very confident,” said the former president, who is opposed by Democrat Kamala Harris, before adding that the Republicans had a ‘very big lead’. According to polls, the two contenders are neck-and-neck in voting intentions. “I'm hearing that we're doing very well in every state,” he added.
Donald Trump said he would be willing to concede defeat to Kamala Harris if “the election is fair”, while raising the specter of possible electoral fraud.
“If I lose an election, if the election is fair, I'll be the first to acknowledge it. So far, I think it's been fair,” said the Republican candidate for the White House.
