In Texas, USA, a woman may have to appear in court for child abuse because she carried her 13-year-old son, infected with the coronavirus, in the trunk of her car. By doing so, she wanted to avoid being infected, according to the American media.
The 41-year-old woman from the Houston area took her son, who had previously tested positive, by car to a testing site for retesting. At the site, she said her son was in the trunk, which led to police being notified. The boy was not injured. The woman worked as a teacher at a high school. The school has, for the time being, suspended her.
