A shooting broke out Friday night during an American high school soccer game in Mobile, Alabama. Police have issued a call for witnesses to identify suspects.
The shooting began shortly before 10 p.m.at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, according to local police. There are multiple injuries, which have been transported to the hospital. The lives of at least one of these victims are in danger, she said. Two of the victims were minors, according to Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine.
According to local television station WALA-TV, the shooting caused panic as spectators rushed for the exits and players threw themselves to the ground on the field.
Five to seven shots were fired. Police recovered at least four shell casings.
At least two suspects fled in a car after the shooting.
