Explosion in Lebanon: 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrates were stored in the port where the explosion took place

According to the Reuetrs news agency, nearly 2,700 tonnes of ammonium nitrates, a product that goes into the composition of certain fertilizers but also of explosives, which had been stored for several years in the warehouse that would be the epicenter of the explosion that ravaged Beirut, a senior Lebanese official said on Tuesday, quoted by local media.
