Americans now have the option of paying for a Tesla in bitcoins, the car company's boss, Elon Musk, made known via Twitter
Tesla had already announced earlier this year that it would accept this payment unit. The electric vehicle assembly company has already invested $1.5 billion in the virtual currency.
