The world's largest known cut diamond is on public display for the first time before its sale, which is expected to fetch $5 million.
Enigma, the name of the rare black carbonado diamond, is on display in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. According to Sophie Stevens, jewelry specialist at Sotheby's auction house, the diamond was created when a meteorite or asteroid hit the Earth more than 2.6 billion years ago.
