Last June, Carsyn Leigh Davis, a 17-year-old girl from Florida, died of coronavirus. On June 10, she participated in a religious celebration gathering around a hundred students. When Carsyn was hospitalized, she complained on Facebook about treatments administered by medical personnel. "I am quarantined with her in her room and I assist her in her care. Doctors refuse to give her hydroxychloroquine, citing new studies that say the drug is not effective and may be harmful. Using it goes against their policy. " Before her daughter became ill, she also shared publications contradicting the effectiveness of the mask. She has since deleted her Facebook account.
Carsyn suffered serious health problems for most of his life, including a nervous system dysfunction, cancer in his young age and "morbid obesity," according to a medical report. A fundraiser had been opened by Carsyn's parents to pay for the medical costs related to the young woman's coronavirus.
