While Kim Kardashian seems ready to have her boyfriend appear in her family's new Hulu series, a source tells U.S. media that people close to the Saturday Night Live star advise against it. His career has taken off, why would he need that? the 28-year-old comedian's close friend tells Page Six.
Pete Davidson has a number of projects in the works, including a biopic on Joey Ramone, a romantic comedy with SNL co-star Colin Jost and a sneaker movie called American Sole.
Those close to him believe that his participation in the reality show will have a negative impact on him. They also pointed out that men in the Kardashian universe, such as Tristan Thompson, Lamar Odom and Kris Humphries, normally do not do well on reality TV. It's a surefire way to kill the relationship, the source contends. Getting involved in the show decimates all the men.
However, another source says he feels no pressure to appear on the show. The people around him don't either. If he happens to be on the show, it happens.
Kim Kardashian told Variety that her partner did not participate in the shooting. I'm not opposed to it. It's just not what he does. But even if Pete Davidson will not appear or very little in the reality show of the famous family, information about his relationship with Kim Kardashian will be revealed, she promises.
According to TMZ, the comedian should still make his arrival in season 2 of the series.
