A charity of the American heavy metal band Metalllica has donated half a million dollars to an NGO to provide meals to Ukrainians who have fled their country due to the Russian invasion. This was reported by loudersound.com on Wednesday.
All Within My Hands will donate the money to the NGO World Central Kitchen. Under the initiative of Chef José Andrés, this organization provides, among other things, meals during humanitarian crises. In this case, it is to provide food to Ukrainians who have fled the violence in their country.
According to Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, the World Central Kitchen teams are now active in six European countries.
