This Thursday, December 9, 2021, a big musical event took place. It was instigated by the American businesswoman, Kim Kardashian. At the head of the bill, we could find two artists-friends: Kanye West, who is none other than the ex-husband of the reality star and Drake.
The two singers met on the stage of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to give a concert that aimed to raise awareness about the need for reform of the prison and judicial system in the United States. The event was named after Larry Hoover, a 71-year-old former gang leader who was sentenced to six life sentences for murder, conspiracy, extortion and money laundering. The former star couple is fighting to have the prisoner released. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian believe he has served his time after more than 50 years behind bars.
