Death of Paco Rabanne: his house broken into the day after his death

While the designer Paco Rabanne died at the age of 88 this Friday, February 3, his house was broken into the next day.
The house located in Ploudalmézeau (Finistère) where the designer lived was burglarized this weekend, according to AFP. "The burglary took place on Saturday night in Ploudalmézeau. The damage is minor and there are no arrests," the Finistère gendarmerie told AFP, confirming a report in Le Télégramme.
The home of the Spanish fashion designer, who is as famous for his metal outfits as he is for his eccentric statements, is located on the shoreline, not far from other houses. "The thieves thought there was a lot of valuable stuff in there. It's not a glorious act. Whether it's Paco Rabanne or anyone else, it's very shocking to go and steal from a person who has just died," Marguerite Lamour, mayor of this commune of just over 6,000 inhabitants, told AFP.
