David Beckham's eldest son, Brooklyn, 23, got married this Saturday evening, April 9. He married Nicola Peltz, 27, in Palm Beach, Florida. The wedding was celebrated with great pomp and circumstance, with distinguished guests, including Eva Longoria and Serena Williams. No photo of the event has yet been shared.
The list of guests had indeed been carefully prepared. But, according to The Mirror, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not receive an invitation. The reason? The Beckham family apparently could not agree on who to choose between William and Kate and Meghan and Harry. It finally appears that David and Victoria Beckham made the decision to invite the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, because of their long friendship.
However, a source told The Mirror that the royal couple declined the invitation, David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate inviting them and the family to their son's wedding, and William replied wishing them much joy, but they cannot attend. This weekend was indeed the first anniversary of Prince Philip's passing. Kate and William could not have missed it …
For their part, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, however, had invited the Beckhams at their wedding in 2018. So they did not return the favor …
