These days in the hospital have been the most nerve-wracking and least stressful of the last six years, this is my real vacation, as depressing as that sounds.
It was hard for me to accept that I would never drink again, even though all the doctors strongly advised me to wait at least a year before drinking a beer.
Tim Bergling (real name) continues: Of course, I didn't listen to the majority of doctors, I listened to the couple who said it was OK if I was careful. I was ignorant and naive and I was going around the world, always touring endlessly...
The author also reveals what the DJ wrote the day before his death in the Sultanate of Oman, a place where he was spending a vacation with friends. Avicii wrote these last words: The stripping of the soul is the last attachment, before it starts again.
